Jim founded Texas Realty Capital in 2005 in partnership with John Morran.
Jim has the industry knowledge and relationships to deliver for clients. Having arranged over $3 billion of mortgage loans in the past decade, Jim is seasoned in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to founding Texas Realty Capital, Jim served as Senior Vice President/Branch Manager of GMAC Commercial Mortgage in Austin, Texas. He joined GMAC in 2001 when the company purchased Keystone Mortgage Partners, a private regional mortgage banking company where Jim served as Principal since 1984.
He holds a MBA from the University of Connecticut and is an active member of The Real Estate Council of Austin, the Urban Land Institute, and the Mortgage Bankers Association. Outside of work, Jim is a former Trustee of the Westbank Community Library and was a founding member of Austin Golf Club. He supports a range of charitable organizations, including Explore Austin, CASA, and The Trail Foundation.
Jim resides in Austin with his wife Sarah Luna and daughter Maxine a freshman at TCU.
